If your holidays are anything like mine, your living room is about to be full of ripped wrapping paper, gifts, and boxes upon boxes. Even devoid of the gifts, the boxes may still be full, however.
They could be packed with Styrofoam, bubble wrap, paper, and other materials. These types of bundles are called
complex packaging and they make disposal and recycling a major hassle.

The tree is lit, the food is cooking, and the music is both loved and hated. Your house probably feels like walking into a Christmas movie with Santa waiting right around the corner, ready to pop out and cover you with presents. On those presents is a big, glaring problem: wrapping paper and ribbon.

The holidays are filled with cheer and laughter and too many presents to count. But, if you ask me what my favorite part of the season is, I would have to say the food. Turkey, mashed potatoes, ham, greens, pie, cookies; I love it all.
But that creates a major problem.
No, I’m not talking about the fact that my pants might get a little too tight. The biggest problem with holiday eating is food waste.

No, it’s not Christmas, though stores are already trying to convince you otherwise. It’s Halloween! Spooks, candy, and amazing fall colors are everywhere. The weather is changing, time has ‘fell’ back, and the first question on most people’s minds is
